Description
Francisco Gómez’s wine dream at Bodega La Serrata
Francisco Gómez began his passion for wine in his early years working in grape harvests in other countries. His dream of owning his own winery became a reality in Villena, on the La Serrata estate. This 3,500-hectare estate features an old winery from the 18th century. In 2000, the bodega was born, but in 2004, with 200,000 kilos of his own grapes, his legacy as a winemaker began.
The Alicante D.O. shelters the winery in the Alto Vinalopó, a more extreme climate. The indigenous MONASTRELL grape dominates the wines and adapts to the dry and extreme climate. With intense aromas, this versatile grape produces still, sparkling and sweet wines. White wines, rosés, young red wines, oak wines, crianzas and many more are part of their collection of top wines, all vegan, kosher and organically grown.
Bodega La Serrata, a dream born from the grape harvest, produces unique wines that carry the passion and dedication of Francisco Gómez, embodied in every drop that flows from their vineyards into your glass.
